Antique Ford Tractor: Ford 541 Offset Workmaster

[Return to the Shed]

This is the offset version of the Ford 541. It was designed for implements to be mounted under the body and gave an unobstructed view. This was a departure from the concept of rear-mounted implements.

  • I restored a 541 offset. Based on the serial number its a 1959 model. I converted the 6v to 12v. and that makes it much more fun to use as it cranks without problems summer and winter. I used a 801 block with 541 exhaust/intake manifold and carburator to limit the horse power. This engine was completely rebuilt professionally and is powerful. I need at steering box. This is the hardest part to find on the whole tractor. Only the 541 uses this steering gear box. Anyone with a parts tractor please contact me if the steering box is available.
