  • Not sure if this thread is still active, we have what we believe is a Lauson Beaver 16-32 that looks much like the picture above but it has a Nichols and Shepard data tag on it titled The Red River Special Line, the hand hole covers say Lauson Beaver, anyone know anything about this one.

  • My Neighbor has a John Lauson tractor 1925 I think. But the engine has been changed, has a Herules, he bought it that way. He would like to find a Beaver to get it closer to original. Give me a call if you know where one is 419-494-2444

  • My Dad had two Lauson tractors--a4 cyndler and a 6 cyndler. I have driven them when I was very young--probably 6 yrs old. I had to brace my foot on the fender to turn it. The 4 is still in the family, but in sad condition. Parts have been stolen off it, and kids have shot their 22 s at it. My brothers sold the 6, and it went to Ark. I remember daddy farming with them, and how very slow they ran. These tractors have always been very dear in my memories. I am 76 years old.

  • I have a 20-35 Lauson tractor with a Leroy engine. It is almost identical to the Beaver engine. I believe Leroy bought the Beaver engine works, they were both in Milwaukee.

  • The tractor club I belong to has a 1917 Beaver-Lauson tractor. I realize the engine is the beaver part of the name. What I am trying to find out is the original colours the tractor would have been painted. The old girl runs great but we have not changed its antique rust colour as we do not know what colours to paint it. Also, any information on the availability of decals for it would be appreciated. Please email or answer through the forum.

  • In our collection we have a John Lauson tractor, model 15-25, serial number 230. It has been standing outdoors for decades, but the engine is running, and we have most of the parts. We have done some restoration, but need help with some details of the cabin. Does any one have one of those or know of one, where we could get some measures?
