  • I have purchased a d-15 on propane and am having fuel problems. The regulator is new. It has a bad exhaust system with an after market muffler, so when it rained, water got into the system. I have rectified that. The tractor starts and idles, but dies when I give it some throttle. If I play around with the adjustment on the front of the carburator I can get it to run at higher speeds, but the settings keep changing and nothing is consistant. Any advice from someone would be appreciated. Dink

  • My brother had a D15 back in the 60 s. I was helping him fill silo. He had just purchased two new AC power takeoff chopper wagons and a new AC power takeoff blower. The AC salesman was trying to sell a new blower to my brother s neighbor and brought him to see ours. I had a WD45 hooked to the wagon and the D15 was on the blower. The silo was 50 feet high. I starded the D15 and opened the WD wide open and kept it going until the wagon was empty. I figued I would either plug the blower and stall the D15. It did not happen the wagon was empty and the salesman and farmer just stood there in awe, so did I. It was a great tractor, one of the best AC ever built.

Also, does anyone have any D-14 fenders they'd like to sell? I have an Allis Chalmers 80-R Snap Coupler mount mower, almost complete, that I would like to sell. It fits the D-14, D-15, or D-17.
